Description	Picture of Bearkat Basketball player Scott Horstman (number 14) ecstatic after winning the Lone Star Conference Tournament on February 5, 1981. Scott Horstman was 2nd in the All State, All District Team for 2 years. He was also was named All Conference Honorable Mention and was 2nd in the All State, All District Team for 2 years. In high school, he averaged 23 points a game and was first team All-District for two years, first Super Centex, and first All-Region. In addition, he played in the Texas Hall of Fame All-Star Classic in Waco. The 1981 SHSU Men’s Basketball team had a season record of 23-8 and also claimed the Lone Star Conference Title and Conference Championship.
