Description	Picture of Bearkat Basketball player Yommy Sangodeyi (number 31), 1983. Yommy Sangodeyi was named as one of the LSC All-Tournament players. He was also named to the All-Conference first team. He set several school records, including the LSC record when he collected 27 free throws at tempts against Howard Payne. He also set another record during that same game with 20 free throws. This allowed the team to set a record for total free throw attempts for the Howard Payne game with 44. The 1983 SHSU Men's Basketball team had an annual home record of 15-1.
